When my grandson (ii years sometime) and granddaughter (half dozen months old) opened the gift (it was for my granddaughter and her brother helped opening the gift) both were immediately excited. Yet when my grandson, who is very musical, started playing with the rollers the D was flat and he immediately went to get another xylophone type toy where all of the keys are in tune and began playing information technology instead. He does not like playing music on information technology either with the rollers or with the stick that came with it because of the flat tone of the D key. My granddaughter is interested in the rollers but looses interest correct now as they tin can exist difficult for her to spin depending upon the surface the piano is on. When it is on the difficult floor and she is laying next to it, the piano holds her involvement for a good while. If it is on rug or a blanket, the rollers are not as easy to spin.

I love this toy! I bought information technology for my son, later reading some other positive review from a parent of a child with cerebral palsy. My son loves music and percussion, but so many of the musical instruments offered elsewhere are difficult to apply with limited dexterity. The rolling motion characteristic of this toy is ideal for the way he plays, and he is quite delighted that he can use this toy easily.

non loud plenty, I know it is an analog audio, but it seems muffled. It would not attract more use. Note: the above Play Value response to a higher place: i selected "hasn't touch it" is considering it is a gift and I have not presented to my grandchild nonetheless. Plus he is too immature right now to play it. So you tin can't really have that value in your statistics. Grandpa is a rock and curlicue keyboard histrion in his career and hobby; The "Rock and Curl Pianoforte" is a Christmas souvenir from Grandpa. It will exist our grand kid'southward first pianoforte.

Love your products! Glad that I found you on Amazon, but I am buying direct from FatBrain, now. According to the baby's daddy, his 10 month sometime son "did not know what to do" with the stone and roller piano. I'yard sorry, but he gave me no other information. Maybe daddy and mommy did not help babe to learn how play with it. Not sure.

Baby loves this toy. The spinning action is awesome and makes it then easy for her to get it to make audio. It is overall solid and well congenital. My only complaint is that the pulsate stick is not tied on to the balance of the toy which I worry will pb to it beingness lost.

I establish this using the age filter for "babies"; the box notes "10M+." This is a quality toy just I may accept been premature in purchasing it for our vi month sometime granddaughter. While interested in the xylophone sound, she isn't ready to spin the wheels fast enough to make it play and the modest plastic drumstick isn't safe for her in her 'everything-to-my-oral fissure' stage. She likes the colors but this isn't a pick upwardly to play toy. It is well made and I retrieve in a few months she'll be fix to spend more than quality time driving anybody derailed.

I bought this for my daughter for her first birthday, and not but does she honey information technology, simply my son (who's virtually four) likewise loves it! They both play with it every 24-hour interval and sometimes fight over who gets to play with it. It's so simple, but so fun! Love the concept of the rollers - those are my girl'south favorite. I didn't realize this when I bought it, but information technology has a petty stick attached to the back then that kids tin bang on the xylophone keys as well, so my son loves doing that. Definitely a favorite toy in our business firm, and some money well-spent!

The toy is then fun I want to play with information technology lol. I got it for my nine month old, and he is enjoying the rolling portion of it, BUT when he gets older he will be able to striking the keys with the included baton so it will span multiple age ranges. There is a nice clip on storage for the baton underneath so he won't choke himself with information technology now when he wants to put everything in his mouth and we won't utilise information technology when he can use that part later.

Out of tune and bad mallet blueprint

The xylophone is quite out of a tune. As stated by several others, the mallet seems a run a risk for children. The wheel pattern is fun, with a couple of fixes this will be a bang-up purchase.

Vivid. My baby instantly knew how to play with it. I wish the sound was bigger and clearer but I am overall happy with the fact that alll the edges are polish, no risk factor for my 8months old teething infant.

Our babe is four months onetime and she tin't use the stick to play the pianoforte yet but she uses her easily to spin the wheels with some assist. She is amend at using her feet to spin the wheels which she seems to really enjoy as she gets shocked and excited by the sounds that information technology makes. The colors too involvement her. As she gets older this toy volition be played with more.

I ordered one of these for my seven-month-old baby, and and so Fatty Brains concluded upward sending me a replacement. I love the concept of the toy, and and then does my son. He's very interested in sound and music and loves banging on the keys of our piano, and so this seemed similar a nifty pick. Equally shortly equally I started spinning the wheels and he saw how information technology worked, he crawled over and began happily spinning them himself. So all of that is smashing. The trouble is that the notes themselves are wildly out of tune. On the starting time one I ordered, the bottom 5 notes of the scale were basically okay, and the summit three were completely off. On the replacement, the middle few notes were okay just both the bottom and the top were off. I've spoken with the wonderful folks at Fatty Brain Toys about the problem, and they're aware of the issue, so I hope it can be resolved with the manufacturer. Making musical toys that are this far out of melody is a chip like publishing children's books where many of the words are misspelled.
